On August 23, 2024, at 4:00 PM, the Shandong Huaneng Party Branch successfully held a summary meeting for the study and education of party discipline in the party member activity room. The purpose of this meeting is to strengthen the members' in-depth understanding of party discipline, enhance their awareness of discipline, and further promote the standardized construction of the party branch.
The meeting was divided into two agendas. First, Comrade Zhao Peikun from the engineering company led the study of Chapters 8 to 11 of the 'Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China'. Through Comrade Zhao's excellent reading, the party members gained a clearer understanding of the requirements of party discipline.
Subsequently, the branch secretary delivered a summary speech. The secretary emphasized that discipline is the lifeline of the party, a 'ruler' for governing the party, and also a standard and guideline for party members to restrain their own behavior. From April to July this year, conducting education on party discipline throughout the party is an important measure taken by the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core to strengthen the construction of party discipline and promote comprehensive and strict governance of the party. General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to this education on party discipline, having delivered important speeches and made significant instructions multiple times, providing fundamental guidance for carrying out education on party discipline and indicating the direction for adhering to and strengthening comprehensive and strict governance of the party. We must effectively unify our thoughts and actions with the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, solidly promote the in-depth development of education on party discipline, resolutely build a strong ideological defense line against corruption and change, and effectively improve the quality of party building work, leading all work to high-quality development with high-quality party building.
Through this study, all party members should deeply understand the importance of party discipline, internalize disciplinary requirements in their hearts and externalize them in their actions, always using party discipline as a criterion in their work and life, strictly demanding themselves. At the same time, the secretary also put forward requirements for the members, hoping that everyone can transform the results of studying party discipline into practical actions, play a pioneering and exemplary role in enterprise development, and contribute to creating a clean and upright corporate environment.
