In September, a total of 11,631 new renewable energy power generation projects were added nationwide.On November 5, the National Energy Administration released the announcement on the situation of newly added renewable energy power generation projects (excluding household photovoltaic) in September 2024, indicating that in September, there were a total of 11,631 new renewable energy power generation projects (excluding household photovoltaic), including 36 wind power projects, 11,560 photovoltaic power projects (50 centralized photovoltaic power projects and 11,510 industrial and commercial distributed photovoltaic power projects), and 35 biomass power generation projects.

The Blue Ocean Photovoltaic Power Station is located in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, with approximately 5.9 million photovoltaic panels installed and a total installed capacity of three million kilowatts. It is a key supporting project for the national 'West-to-East Power Transmission' - ultra-high voltage direct current transmission project from western Inner Mongolia to southern Shandong.
The Shaanxi section of the Longdong-to-Shandong ultra-high voltage direct current transmission project has been fully connected.According to Xinhua News Agency on November 5, it was reported that recently, the Shaanxi section of the Longdong-to-Shandong ±800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current transmission project successfully achieved full line connection. The project starts from Qingyang City in Gansu Province and passes through Shaanxi, Shanxi, and Hebei to reach Tai'an City in Shandong Province, with a total length of 926.4 kilometers and a transmission capacity of 8,000 megawatts.This project is a key project in the national '14th Five-Year' electricity planning and is also China's first 'integrated wind-solar-fire-storage' export ultra-high voltage project, expected to be put into operation in 2025.
◐Shandong's new energy and renewable energy generation have historically surpassed coal power.According to Dazhong Daily on November 5, the latest statistics released by Shandong Provincial Energy Administration show that Shandong's cumulative installed capacity for new energy and renewable energy generation has reached 10,642.6 megawatts, historically surpassing coal power and becoming the largest power source in the province. ◐Inner Mongolia releases list of severely disaster-affected coal mines.On November 5, the website of the National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau Inner Mongolia Bureau published an announcement regarding the list of severely disaster-affected coal mines in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region indicating that there are currently29 severely disaster-affected coal mines in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region; among them are six high-gas mines; one outburst mine; fourteen mines with complex or extremely complex hydrogeological types; and nineteen mines with rock burst pressure.

This replaces fuel-powered mining dump trucks with pure electric mining electric wheel dump trucks, injecting strong momentum into the development of green mines, safe mines, energy-saving mines, and smart mines.
