CCTV news: the reporter learned from the State Grid on August 3 that China will start another batch of major power grid projects in the second half of the year. It is estimated that the total investment in the construction and new construction projects of the State Grid will reach 1.3 trillion billion yuan this year, a record high.
According to reports, in the second half of this year, the State Grid will start construction of eight UHV transmission channels, including hydropower stations in the upper reaches of the Jinsha River to Hubei, Gansu Longdong to Shandong, Ningxia to Hunan, and Xinjiang Hami to Chongqing. At the same time, the preparatory work for six UHV transmission projects from Shanxi Datong to Tianjin South, Shaanxi to Anhui, and Shaanxi to Henan will also be launched.
In the second half of this year, the State Grid will also start construction of pumping and storage power stations in Zhuanghe, Liaoning, and Niushoushan, Ningxia, to promote the construction of power grids in key counties, old revolutionary areas, and border areas. By the end of this year, State Grid was also under construction with nearly 4500 major power grid projects, with a total investment of 1.3 trillion billion yuan in construction and new construction projects, a record high.
