Shandong Feicheng 300MW/1800MWh Advanced Compressed Air Energy Storage National Demonstration Power Station Successfully Connected for the First Time


Abstract

Shandong Feicheng 300MW/1800MWh Advanced Compressed Air Energy Storage The national demonstration power station was successfully connected to the grid for the first time. Figure 1 Shandong Feicheng 300MW Advanced Compressed Air Energy Storage National Demonstration Power Station At 11: 18 a.m. on April 30, Shandong Feicheng International's first 300MW/1800MWh advanced compressed air energy storage national demonstration power station with completely independent intellectual property rights was successfully connected to the grid for the first time. The power station adopts the advanced compressed air energy storage technology independently developed by the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. China Storage National Energy (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. is the investment and construction unit, and Shandong Environmental Energy Design Institute Co., Ltd. is responsible for the design. The new type of compressed air energy storage power station with the largest scale, the highest efficiency, the best performance and the lowest cost. It can realize continuous discharge for 6 hours, generate about 0.6 billion degrees of electricity per year, and provide power guarantee for about 20-300000 households at the peak of electricity consumption, which can save about 189000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 490000 tons per year. The power station uses the abundant underground salt cavern resources in Feicheng City, Shandong Province to store gas, and uses air as a medium to realize large-scale power storage on the power grid side. It can provide power regulation functions such as peak adjustment, frequency modulation, phase adjustment, backup, black start, etc. for the power grid, and effectively support the smooth and efficient operation of the power system. Shandong Huaneng Design Institute Co., Ltd., as a strategic partner of China National Energy Reserve, has successively participated in the preliminary design and construction drawing design of several compressed air energy storage projects since 2020, including the 100MW advanced compressed air energy storage national demonstration power station project in Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, the 100MW compressed air energy storage project in Nanjing Future Energy System Research Institute, the 300MW advanced compressed air energy storage national demonstration power station in Feicheng, Shandong Province, and the 100MW/400MWh compressed air storage project in Datang Zhongning, to make outstanding contributions to make the compressed air energy storage industry bigger and stronger, and to create a new type of energy storage and new quality productivity!!!
