The power station adopts the advanced compressed air energy storage technology independently developed by the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. China Storage National Energy (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. is the investment and construction unit, and Shandong Environmental Energy Design Institute Co., Ltd. is responsible for the design.
