Polaris Power Network learned that in order to effectively prevent and resolve the risk of coal-fired power overcapacity in an orderly manner and ensure the completion of the coal-fired power regulation and control objectives and tasks set out in the 2017 Government Work Report, in accordance with the requirements of relevant documents such as the Opinions on Promoting Supply-side Structural Reform to Prevent and Resolve the Risk of Coal-fired Power Overcapacity (NDRC Energy [2017] No. 1404), September 26, the National Development and Reform Commission, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the National Energy Administration jointly issued the ''Notice on the List of Provinces for the Suspension and Suspension of Coal and Electricity Projects in 2017 '', which:
Stop the construction of coal power projects: involving 9 provinces, 29 projects. Among them, Shanxi (11 items), Inner Mongolia (5 items), Jiangxi (1 item), Shandong (2 items), Guangdong (2 items), Guangxi (2 items), Shaanxi (2 items), Gansu (2 items), Xinjiang (2 items).
Slow construction of coal power projects: involving 17 regions and 50 projects. Among them, Hebei (4 items), Shanxi (6 items), Inner Mongolia (4 items), Heilongjiang (2 items), Anhui (2 items), Fujian (4 items), Henan (4 items), Hubei (5 items), Guangdong (1 item), Sichuan (1 item), Guizhou (2 items), Yunnan (1 item), Gansu (1 item), Qinghai (2 items), Ningxia (7 items), Xinjiang (2 items), Corps (2 items).
