Measures for the Registration of Registered Urban Planners Stopped
In order to implement the requirements of streamlining administration and delegating powers, combining decentralization and management, optimizing service requirements, and stimulating market vitality and social creativity, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development recently issued a notice to abolish the "Registration Measures for Registered Urban Planners."
In accordance with the requirements of the newly revised "the People's Republic of China Urban and Rural Planning Law" and the "Decision of the State Council on Canceling and Adjusting a Batch of Administrative Approval Items and Other Matters", the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has canceled the administrative license for registered urban planners, from the date of issuance of the notice The "Notice on Issuing the Measures for the Registration of Registered Urban Planners" was abolished. The China Urban Planning Association is responsible for the registration and related work of urban planners, and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development guides and supervises the registration and practice of registered urban planners.
