China Increases Construction of Photovoltaic Power Stations by 5.3 million kW
Xinhuanet, Beijing, October 7 (Reporter Chen Weiwei) The National Energy Administration of China recently issued a notice clarifying that the country has increased the construction scale of photovoltaic power stations by 5.3 million kilowatts, which is mainly used to support the construction of photovoltaic power stations with superior construction conditions, good completion of the issued construction plans, and active innovation The construction of photovoltaic power stations in areas such as new energy demonstration cities and green energy demonstration counties with development methods.
According to the National Energy Administration, this is an increase in the annual construction scale of photovoltaic power stations in some regions based on the operation and development needs of photovoltaic power generation in the first half of the year. The provinces with more increases include Inner Mongolia, Hebei, and Xinjiang.
The notice requires that the energy authorities of all relevant provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities should promptly connect with power grid companies and implement matters related to the construction of supporting power grids. In principle, each project should start construction within 2015 and be connected to the grid before June 30, 2016. In addition, power grid enterprises should formulate supporting power grid construction plans in a timely manner, coordinate and promote the construction and transformation of supporting power grids, and do a good job in grid access and grid-connected operation services for photovoltaic power generation projects.
Prior to this, the National Energy Administration issued the "Notice on Issuing the Implementation Plan for Photovoltaic Power Generation Construction in 2015" in March, and issued a national new photovoltaic power station construction scale of 17.8 million kilowatts in 2015. The total scale of the centralized photovoltaic power station and distributed photovoltaic power station projects planned to start in 2015 in each region shall not exceed the construction scale of the new photovoltaic power station issued, and the projects within the scale shall be eligible for subsidies from the National Renewable Energy Fund.
