The 4th China-India Strategic Economic Dialogue was successfully held in New Delhi, India


On October 7, the fourth China India strategic economic dialogue was held in New Delhi, India. The theme of the dialogue was "development, innovation, cooperation and win-win". Xu Shaoshi, director of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, and Panagalia, vice chairman of the National Transformation Commission of India, co-chaired and delivered keynote speeches. Chinese Ambassador to India Luo Zhaohui delivered a speech. China and India fully exchanged views on major issues such as the global economic situation and the macroeconomic situation of the two countries, conducted in-depth discussions on promoting bilateral practical cooperation, reviewed and summarized the progress of cooperation among various working groups since the third dialogue, and reached a series of meeting results.

At the dialogue meeting, the two sides discussed the global and respective domestic economic situation and main reform ideas. They believed that the current world economy is recovering tortuously in the process of deep adjustment and is in a critical period of transformation of new and old growth momentum. The momentum provided by the last round of technological and industrial revolution is facing fading, and a new round of growth momentum is still being nurtured. As the second and seventh largest economies in the world, China and India have great potential and broad prospects for bilateral cooperation. As the two largest developing countries, China and India work together for mutual benefit and win-win results, and will become the "dual engines" of regional and world economic growth ".

China and India agreed to continue to strengthen cooperation in the fields of policy coordination, infrastructure, high technology, energy conservation and environmental protection, and energy, and to focus more on people's livelihood, so as to better promote the sustainable economic development of the two countries and benefit the two peoples.

During the meeting, the two sides signed a series of documents, such as the statement of principles between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the National Transformation Commission of the Republic of India on capacity Cooperation, the Action Plan of the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Electronic Information of the Republic of India on "Internet" Cooperation, and the minutes of this dialogue meeting. At the same time, the two sides signed 16 types of project cooperation agreements, involving an amount of 16 billion million US dollars.

Representatives of the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Energy Administration, the National Railway Administration and other departments, Hainan Province, Shenzhen City, Shenyang City, Guiyang City and other provinces and cities and related enterprises, and representatives of relevant Indian departments and enterprises, a total of more than 500 people attended the dialogue meeting.
