On the afternoon of August 12, Wang Haotian, the director of Hebei Electric Power Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd., and Wang Yi, the general manager of Shanghai Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd., visited Shandong Huaneng Design Institute Co., Ltd. for an inspection. In order to deeply implement the requirements of strict governance of the Party, and to strengthen the discipline education of Party members, on July 23, 2024, the Mobile Talent Committee of the Public Employment and Talent Service Center of the Communist Party of Shandong Province organized a rich and meaningful discipline Party class activity at Shandong Environmental Energy Design Institute Co., Ltd.
At the beginning of the event, all participants visited the Party branch's building site at Shandong Environmental Energy Design Institute Co., Ltd., gaining an in-depth understanding of the company's innovative practices and significant achievements in Party building work, laying a solid foundation for subsequent learning and exchanges.
Then, everyone watched a warning education short film, which through real cases deeply recognized that the red line of discipline is not to be touched, further enhancing awareness of discipline and rules.
In the learning session, Comrade Zhang Fuquan led everyone to earnestly study General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech during the 15th collective study session of the 20th Central Political Bureau, emphasizing the need to implement the overall requirements for Party building in the new era and further improve the system for strict governance of the Party to provide strong support for the development of the Party and national undertakings. Comrade Gao Nan reported typical cases of disciplinary violations by members of the Mobile Talent Party Committee, using nearby incidents to educate those around them, warning all Party members to take them as a cautionary tale, always maintain a clear mind, and strictly observe Party discipline and national laws.
Next, Party Secretary Comrade Zhang Yan delivered a vivid discipline Party class. She focused on "Observing Discipline and Rules, Deeply Learning the 'Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China,' and Using Strong Discipline Support to Promote In-depth Learning of Party Discipline," providing an in-depth interpretation of the important content and essence of the 'Regulations,' and proposed clear requirements for how Party members and cadres should observe discipline and practice rules based on actual work. Recently, Shandong Huaneng welcomed an important moment for external system audits. This external audit is part of the certificate renewal review, aimed at conducting a comprehensive and in-depth supervision and examination of the company's consulting, design, construction, and supervision services in related fields such as electricity, construction, municipal affairs, and environmental protection. This is to ensure that the company's management system continues to meet standard requirements and provides strong support for the company's sustainable development. The audit work officially started on July 24 and lasted for four days, ending on July 27. During this period, three experienced and highly skilled external audit experts diligently conducted a meticulous review of the company's various business processes and management aspects. After four days of intense work, the external audit experts fully affirmed the operation of the company's management system. They believe that the company has a sound management system that operates effectively in consulting, design, construction, and supervision in related fields such as electricity, construction, municipal affairs, and environmental protection, continuously meeting relevant standards and customer requirements. At the same time, the experts also provided valuable improvement suggestions based on some issues and shortcomings identified during the audit process, pointing out directions for the company to further enhance its management level. To celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, remember the glorious history of the Party, and carry forward its fine traditions, the Shandong Huaneng Party Branch organized a themed study meeting on July 1, 2024, in the afternoon. The meeting was presided over by Deputy Secretary Wang Youmei and attended by all party members.
At the beginning of the meeting, Secretary Zhang Fuquan conveyed the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection in Shandong to all party members. Secretary Zhang emphasized that all party members should deeply understand the connotation of the General Secretary's speech, use it as motivation to further deepen reforms comprehensively, closely integrate with the actual situation of the company, and contribute to writing a chapter of Chinese-style modernization in Shandong.
Subsequently, Liu Lin from Design Company 2 led all party members in an in-depth study of Chapters Six and Seven of the Party Disciplinary Regulations. Through this study, party members further clarified the requirements of party discipline and enhanced their awareness of discipline and rules.
In the final agenda item of the meeting, all party members stood solemnly to review their oath of joining the Party. The powerful oaths echoed in the meeting room, demonstrating the firm belief of party members to remain true to their original aspiration and keep their mission firmly in mind.
